Initial User Airdrop (September 2022)

The SAFE token launched on September 28, 2022, with an airdrop to early Safe users as part of the SafeDAO formation. This was the first distribution of SAFE tokens to the community.

Eligibility

• Users who created a Safe on Ethereum mainnet before February 9, 2022
• 43,575 addresses were eligible
• Over 12,000 sybil addresses were removed, saving ~2.9M SAFE

Allocation

• 5% of total SAFE supply (50M SAFE out of 1B total) allocated to user rewards
• 50% claimable immediately at launch
• 50% vesting linearly over 4 years
